This was the final performance of Earle Graser as the Lone Ranger. On April 8, 1941, Graser was killed in Farmington, Michigan when his car crashed into a parked truck trailer. It was surmised that he had fallen asleep at the wheel while on his way to the WXYZ studios in Detroit.
