Synopsis[edit | edit source]
After the ambush at Bryant's Gap, the Lone Ranger and Tonto start their pursuit of Butch Cavendish and his men. Along the way they find a wild white stallion in battle with a buffalo. The Lone Ranger shoots the buffalo to save the horse. The Ranger then nurses the horse back to health. After the horse decides to stay with the masked man, the Ranger names him Silver.
Meanwhile, Butch Cavendish has been killing several important people in the town of Colby, replacing them with his men. He decides to set up an old ranger named Jim Blaine to take the blame. The Lone Ranger and Tonto stumble upon this plan and they take Jim, and old friend of the Ranger's, to work the Reid's silver mine and to make silver bullets.
